STONE BRIDGE

The stone bridge was erected upon the project of Ekaterinburg plants architect, Sartorius E.H. in 1840-1841 and it is located in the central part of the city, on the crossroads of Malisheva street and Iset river, closing from the south the territory of the former plant which gave rise to the city (now Historical public garden).

U.O. PETELINA’S HOUSE

Stylistically the house dates back to the middle of the 19th century when a décor of early eclectics was already winning over the classical one. The stone house stands on Dobrolyubova Street (former Hospitalnaya) close to the former Bread square.

WOMEN’S GYMNASIUM BUILDING NAMED AFTER ALEXEY

A building of the Ural State Mining University (building of the second Women’s Gymnasium named after Alexey). The question concerning the second women’s gymnasium in Ekaterinburg was raised in city administration in 1897.

House-Museum of Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak

The house currently occupied by the museum was purchased by writer Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak in 1885 with the royalties he earned for his novel “The Privalov Fortune”. The writers family – his mother, sister, and brother − also lived here.

Tsarsky Cultural and Educational Centre

The center includes several exhibition halls with changing expositions, a small concert hall with the Royal Family's piano where concerts of piano music and performances of Russian and world classics regularly take place, a library, a church in the name of St. Nicholas, and much more.

Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic

Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic founded in 1936 was the first in the country to win the Philharmonic of the Year title. Every season the theater runs more than 2,000 concerts. The theater is especially proud of its own Ural Philharmonic Orchestra, well known to those fond of clas­sical music in Russia and abroad, as well as the unique organ of the German SAUER company, one of the largest in Russia.

Theater is one of the old­est and most famous professional theaters for children and youth in Russia.

Здание на улице Пролетарской было передано Объединенному музею 21 февраля 1985 года, с тех пор здесь находится Музей кукол.
